Lal Jayawardene : Promoter and Director

Kamal Chandralal Jayawardene has experience with printing & publishing industry since 1980. He holds a British MBA in Marketing and is also a Chartered Marketer, CIM (UK).

At present he serves as a director of Wijeya Newspapers Ltd (WNL) the leading newspaper group in Sri Lanka, International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka, Executive Committee Member of Sri Lanka Association of Printers and several privately held companies.

Ranjit Premakumara : CEO

Mr. Premakumara started his career at Lanka Glass Manufacturing Co Ltd. as an Electrical Engineer in 1996, after graduation from the University of Peradeniya with a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from University of Colombo.

He took over as the Project Manager of the RS Printek in 1998 and was the key person who developed the company from brick and mortar to be a major power-house in commercial and text book printing.

Subsequently he was promoted as the General Manager. He served as a director of NapcoPvt Ltd, a company set up to print telephone directories by a consortium set up by four well known printers SarvodayaVishvakekha, Sumathi Book Printing, RS Printek and Premadasa Group.

Chandana Abeysekera : Director – Marketing

Chandana Abeysekera has extensive experience in marketing and sales at various positions in the industryas well as in non-government sector. He is well liked in the industry for his customer service.

He holds a Bachelors of Science degree (BSc) in Management.

About Us

Sanvin began its journey in 2006 as a small print shop in Balummahara, Gampaha, with one press operator, backed by an investment from Mr. Lal Jayawardene, the Promoter.

HISTORY

With the purchase of a two-colour Komori printing machine, Sanvin relocated to Pattivila, Kelaniya. In 2007, the company received its first order for printing school textbooks, and Mr. Ranjith Premakumara joined Sanvin as a Director.

Then in 2008, Sanvin relocated to its own premises at Kanduboda, Halummahara, Delgoda. The property, now spanning 160 perches, provides ample space for expansion. That same year, the company purchased and installed a pre-owned web offset press manufactured in the USA, sourced from a leading publishing company in Pennsylvania, USA.

Today, Sanvin stands among the largest textbook and contract printing companies in Sri Lanka, with a reputation for faster delivery and competitive pricing. It is fully equipped with modern printing and finishing machinery to serve its customers efficiently.
